Sarah Devereaux McCormick
MAC Skating Director
Sarah is a coach, choreographer and skating director from Eagle River, Alaska. Sarah began her own skating career at the age of 5, here at the MAC, enrolling in the ISI learn-to-skate program shortly after her family moved to the great state of Alaska. Her competitive career included five trips to the U.S. National Championships, three U.S. National Championship medals, USFS quadruple gold medalist ranking in freeskate, figures, dance and moves-in-the-field, ISI freestyle and figure 10, guest performances at three ISI World Team Championship Education Foundation Benefit Shows, and the opportunity to appear on television competing against Olympic medalists such as Michelle Kwan and Tara Lipinski at the 1998 U.S. National Championships.
Sarah holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology and is so proud to be the skating director for the Harry J. McDonald Memorial Center, where she is accompanied by a wonderful staff of instructors. When Sarah is not on the ice, she can be found running and spending time with her beautiful family.
